Hideshi Takatani, AKA Tacker, has been known to the world of music as a versatile musician. Not only he plays the guitar and the koto, Western and Japanese instruments, but he plays virtually any style of music. That is from blues, jazz, rock, classical to Japanese traditional music. Nikki Matsumoto spent 15 years in Los Angeles performing at Hollywood venues thourghout the 90s. His band Rock Of Asia featuring Japanese instruments such as Shakuhachi and Biwa has been touring in the US and the Middle East

Two musicians who spent years in the United States hit it off immediately and went on to form SOE. The two performed in Palestine in November 2013, TV appearance and the meeting with President Abbas followed. SOE supports Palestine, people living for 65 years under occupation.

The name of the project, Season Of Equality, came from Tacker's composition "Four Seasons Of Japan Suites". There are seasons on the planet we live, days of climate changes, rain and shine. But they are all nature and they should be equal. That is the idea of Season Of Equality.

One year, one people, one planet. But we have countries, nationality, differences and conflicts, It all should be equal. Even the seasons...

SOE believes the music is the most peaceful expression mankind has ever known. There is no winners and losers, no competition, no class. Just sing and dance to the music.

The first album of Rock Of Asia was released on March 11, 2011, just hours before the worst earthquake in Japan in the century. The song "Ocean" which he wrote of a fisherman losing a family became an epic song since it predicted tsunami. He was actually listening to that particular song when it hit.
